M.R.E. Financial Services Corp. is owned and operated by Gil and Carol Ennis. Since starting in 1994, they and their company have become known for their high standard of excellence in providing financial planning advice, products and services to their clients. Knowledge and leadership in the financial planning industry and dedication to quality individual solutions for every client are hallmarks of M.R.E. Financial. These high standards have received the recognition of their peers and they often consult on a joint basis with other professionals.

Credentials

Gil and Carol both come from family farms in SE Saskatchewan. Gil spent several years in the construction industry as an electrician. Carol worked for almost twenty years with SGI. In 1988 Gil entered the financial services industry and in 1994 was joined by Carol as a partner in M.R.E. Financial Services Corp. Carol looks after marketing and client support services. Shana Dyck provides administration and client support services. On a professional level Gil has the designation of CFP, Certified Financial Planner, CLU, Chartered Life Underwriter, CHFC, Chartered Financial Consultant and has passed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC). These designations are conferred for knowledge and training in advanced estate and financial planning, accounting, taxation, law, business/personal finance, insurance and investment products. The CSC is recognized as one of the most comprehensive courses on investments and finance in Canada.
